Certainly an entertaining thread that could have been summed up by:

my 400hp GTO beat a 325 hp ShelbyGT.....

interesting where it leads to

I wonder if I had some kind of special stickers and lost to a _(insert car name here)_ if it would show up I beat a Twin Turbo GT840 Roush

I read through the entire 4 pages, whereas usually I would just glance though it.

Well, doubt it was any kind of Shelby since no "350" is being made. Just wondering what powertrain the guy had at all....

It was probably a ShelbyGT and he thinks he saw a 350 behind it...since he likely made the connection between GT500 and GT350...

I don't know why anyone would get butthurt though about that thread. He would have molested a Shelby GT *coughnearstockGTcough* anyways, especially at a higher roll.

Reading the thread on gtoforums it sounds to me like the guy thought he was racing someone who wasn't racing him. Happens all the time. There sure are a few people with chips on their shoulders on that forum. Wow.
Most of the guys on that forum are cool. If you look the guy that posted thevthread has like 40 posts. Is just some kid that bought a GTO and now thinks it's the fastest thing on the planet.

The GT350 isn't official from shelby, just a sticker the dealerships stick on them..claimed 319hp.. I'll bet if you put them on a dyno they would be only a little more than a stock GT.. they have a ford racing intake and a catted x pipe.. otherwise they are stock as far as hp mods go..

Yep, seen a few around this area... Also a couple of BOSS Mustangs, etc... all body kits / and or stickers, and nothing else (well the boss dude has a Roush blower on his, dunno where he got his car he said he bought it that way). Meh.
