i think my buddy is BSing
so one of the guys i work with is a HUGE Ford fanboy. he's got an old Mercury Capri, i think it's an '85 or something like that. well he thinks this car is the greatest thing since sliced bread. anyways, he wants to race me once i get the Camaro done. he's claiming 450rwhp all motor off a carbed (670cfm) 302 with an E303 cam. now i haven't really taken a look into the 302 really, but does that sound about right???
he also says he's running a 150 shot on there too.
i want to put him in his place, because he's been ragging on me for getting a Camaro since day one.

He's full of it. Those engines were 210hp at the crank stock.
With a tuned carb, stripped front accessories, 15/8-inch shorty headers, and an off-road H-pipe these guys got 206 rwhp.
I'd like to see how his cam gets him 244+ rwhp

ok, because earlier today he claimed to have "killed" a black and red Evo in town. i know the car and it's over 700awhp. he said he wasn't even on the spray (which i still haven't seen the bottle in his car.

lol, ya. once the RS is back up and running, i'll put him in his place. he told me he'd never see my tail lights, or any GM tail lights in a race ever. so i told him to race my friend Dave. Dave has the 106mm turbo on his Camaro

ok, ya. i'm definitely done talking to this kid. he's now claiming his dad's Capri makes over 600rwhp all motor, with a 306...
i'm gonna finish the 377, figure out how to fab up a rear mount kit, and blow his doors clean off.

There is a guy at the track here that runs high 10s in his capri with a 5.0 and a 150shot. if he knows what he is doing it might be really damn fast. he sounds like a liar to me though... just ask him for a timeslip..
