Good for Ford. Poor little ole me will just continue to roll around in my antiquated little 2V V8. Oh well someone has to keep some nice looking old school models rolling, right?

I think with some 4.10s and DRs, the new sixxer stang could hit low 13's.

the thing I don't understand about the new V6 stangs is the price... if you walk the lot and compare them to the 4.6L models... some are actually more expensive than their V8 counterparts with certain options

the price difference is so small you are better off just financing the extra couple grand to keep a certain value on the car when you go to resell

sure MSRP's say they are like 7-8K less... but if you actually go and walk the lot I've yet to see a 2010 V6 stang any more than 3K less than the 2010 GT's comparing window stickers

Don't hold my feet to the fire...but I might be test driving a new stang sometime in the future if the GT sources are even close to accurate.

Bravo Ford.

Why is that, because of dealer markup? Or do dealers just add stupid options to jack up their price?

I'M GOING TO CHECK A FEW LOTS LATER THIS MONTH BECAUSE I THINK YOU ARE FULL OF ****!!!

True but believe me, you have way more room to work on that loaded up V6. I know, I use to be a Ford dealer auditor.

...yep, just looked at a local Ford dealership's online new car inventory and sure enough, there's at least one sixxer that's over 30 grand.

I wonder if these engines will pick up much from bolt ons? Seems like alot of hp from a NA v6, i could see them being pretty maxed out from the factory like a 350/370z
