ide say 2500 or so thats what my auto is doing stock and i can see that anything over that would be pointless.
ot - i would like to add that FL has some sick cars. 1000hp street supras/cobras anyone?

^bahahahaha! idk i could be wrong but the way i see "street racing" is 2 ways.... 1- it just happens by running into someone who wants to play and that could be from a dig or a roll... such as a red light or a highway run at whatever speed... or 2- you go the fast and furious way and everyone plans to meet up...... like BB had in his sig, "roll racing is just two retards speeding" haha... meenin from a dig theres alot more skill involved or a better race to be had.... for the OP, id say on street tires anything over 3k is just goin to get you excessive wheel spin.... your on the right track with what your doing... ... actually going to a track will help you find the sweet spot (looking at 60' times). Figure it out and use it!

That's right! the track is where you learn to launch your car. the info. on the time slip is a way better indicator of a good launch. My seat of the pants dyno has been lying to me for years!

I also just want to say, it doesn't matter who you drive with.. I know a guy who comes on cruises regularly with a 1000hp turbo LS1 Camaro. I don't think I'm any better because he drives with me. It's about how you drive and how you use that power. I'm becoming more fond of the track all the time. Just be careful whatever you do!
