Default 05 GT Vs. Evo IX

I have a guy in my development who also stares while he is going by my car in the neighborhood. I've only gotten behind him twice on the ride since he's had the car for about a year or so, and I haven't gotten a chance to run him.

My O2's went bad, and I had to switch all them out so I'm running really really lean right now. First gear is a flop unless it kicks in and then moves like a bat out of hell. Second seems pretty strong, and third seems kind of like a turd towards the end. I know I need a retune, but I'm waiting to put my vortech on this month so I don't have to pay for two tunes.

I'm wondering how it would fair for me if I got a chance at the guy right now. I know it might seem kind of hard to tell because the car is acting up a lil. I'm also guessing the guy has full exhaust since he has aftermarket mufflers, and the one time I saw him take off he had black smoke come out.

i don't know, he'll probably get you off the line for sure. you should have him from a roll no doubt i would think. once that vortech is installed you know he shouldn't even be a problem
