Nearly neck and neck with WRX
Earlier today, I raced a good friend of mine from about a 50 roll on a closed course. His WRX has 305hp on a Dynojet, weighs 3100lbs, and does a 12.9 @ 110mph. He KNOWS how to drive, and we both started out at about 3500RPMS (I was in third, he was in fourth) and for around 4 seconds, we were neck and neck until he extremely slowly started inching forward slightly after I shifted out of third at 5600RPMs.
My car has never been dynoed... weighs pretty much the stock weight... has a catback, short throw, CAI, brand new STOCK long block, and a newish clutch. How in god's name did I pull on him? He drives hard, believe me... and after the race, we discussed everything and he said he was very surprised.
I don't want criticism, I just want to throw it out there that maybe our cars aren't as slow as we think they are stock, because of the torque we come with. There is no explanation to this in my book, other than his car makes less than he says (it doesn't I've seen the sheets... 260 on a mustang dyno, 305 on a dynojet)

Yes I am not arguing all of these points. I'm just saying that my car, for it being so extremely close to stock, can definitely hold it's own against cars like these (at least from a roll)
