70 trimm Integra vs Vortech HO 05 GT
I have a guy at work who claims that his integra ran an 11.5 @ 128 at the track about two weeks ago on street tires, and I wanted to call BS. The guy had never taken the car to the track before, and IMO that is way too high of a trap speed for an 11.5. Even if the guy has a 70 trimm, I don't see him getting into the elevens. I get my car tuned thursday, and I'm really wanting to run this guy. The kit that I have is supposed to put down 462 rwhp, and I have 4.10's, headers, p&p TB, TB spacer, o/r x, and a couple suspension mods. What are your opinions? Dig and roll.

Well if he's honest you're done if he's lying you'll probably pull nicely. BTW an 11.5@128 is def doable. My friend was running that EXACTLY in his cobra while he was trying to learn the best technique. I will admit if he claims that's the best it'll do it's bs as that trap is easily good for high 10s

With a turbo that big, he'd need a built motor. With a trap like that I can see it running 11.5 for sure. I've made mid 12 second passes @118ish on street tires. You just gotta control the spin in first and second and then let the big turbo do it's thing on the second half of the track.

My car should be capable of low 12's high 11's or even mids shouldn't it? So if he is telling the truth it should be pretty close. He also said this was his first time at the track, so like I said I would be surprised.
BB at your run you were at 118. I'd be surprised that he would only be two tenths better with 10 mph more AND on street tires.
