Default What do you think I can run this year?

Alright, well last year I went to the 1/8 track twice. My best run was a 8.3 @ 94.8mph with a 2.1 60' (pretty sure that was the 2.1 run, the rest were 2.2, 2.3). Though launching at only 2K, despite having a decent 60' on streets my turbo really wasn't spooling till about ~20mph and it just killed my times. Though the trap should have been good for ~120-121mph as it was.

That was on 22.5psi/93 Octane on a 44-lbs min turbo, Next track visit will be on 28psi/110 (AGP says it should make 440hp and even more torque) and I plan to get steelies/slicks so I can get a ~5K launch on boost. Was planning on cams but honestly I've lost too much interest in cars to spend too much $$ in it as of now. Car will be on the high side of ~27XXlbs and I'm 200lbs. What do you think the CAR will be capable of?

Jesus. Just a wild guess, but low 11's?

Is your drivetrain modded to handle slicks?

Car just has full mounts. Assuming the car will stay together the few times I go, haha,

I think you will mimick BB's runs for the most part, maybe trap a tad higher. You planning on running the 1/4 this year, right?

Yeah, as long as I decide to spend the money on slicks/wheels. I know it will take a while to run decent times though low 11's @ close to midish 120's would be great if it has it in it. I know BB is the only one to compare here and he was cutting IIRC 1.69 60's with an 11.79. He has more track exp, and I don't know the diff power wise but the Mopar S3 turbo is a 37lbs-min wheel and I believe he said he was at 23-24psi and my Delta has a 44lb wheel right at 28 psi. He said he cut 93-94 in the 1/8 on street tires, my 94.8 was on 22.5psi (diff on 28 is huge). A comparison the K04 in the SS/TC is a 36lb-min wheel. I'm won't run the car to it's 100% potential considering I'm not too wrapped up in going to the track this year with everything going on though I would like to go a few times. Despite what the car is capable of I would really be happy with a high to mid 11 with a killer trap.

Didn't realize there was that much difference in your SRTs. That is a pretty big difference however. I still think with slicks, you guys would run about the same, but if you went a few times and spent some time figuring everything out, you should run lower 11s than BB did.

Wonder if the engine can handle cams/ a 35-50 shot. Haha. No I'm pretty much done modding it, at least for now. Really wanting to finish paying it off and get a truck or SUV.

Damn man, why don't you buy an F-15 instead, lol.

Doubt it would stay together very long. Isn't the safe limit on those engines around 450 whp?

You going to keep the SRT and get another vehicle, or trade it?
