so this guy at my work is buying a 2000 boxster s next week and he doesn't even have it yet and he's started talkin smack lol. He said the guy who had it before beat a supercharged mustang gt and this and that. I looked up the track times and it looks like they're high 13's with a good driver, and this will be the guys first manual so i'm assuming it'll be a low 14 second car. Just wondering if anyone's ever raced one with a bolt on mustang and what i should expect. I see myself talking him into a race from a dig and me hurting his feelings when he gets beat by a mustang a third of the price.

I can't ever get any of those ugly *** Boxters to run, lol. I know for a fact you'll embarass him from a dig. It would probably be closer from a roll, but only if he is a natural.

I get highly amused when people buy a *gasp* Porsche and think it will smoke everything on the road. Just the fact that he is talking smack would make me definitely spray him. Do it with people from work in attendance and bend the pinhead over and hurt him in a manly fashion.

I was talking to a guy on one of these forums awhile back, and he was saying that he traded his Stang in on a Boxster. He said he has regretted it ever since and wanted his ***** back, lol. I think he got wrapped up in the initial superior handling and braking, hence the trade.... then later regret. Most of the Porsches are good looking (imo) performers, just not the Boxster so much.

well the guy knows that i have nitrous, so I'll prolly race him once n/a then another with the nitrous. The guy and I were having a chat about it with 2 other guys, and 3 of us think(know) I'll win, but the other guy still thinks his porsche is the **** or something. So as he was walking away he said "I'll put some money on it too!". So i might throw 20 bucks in on it to pay for the gas i waste on it. . but if money is involved then so will the nitrous lol.
