2012 Buick Regal GS
the 2012 Regal GS is really starting to look better and better.
270bhq/295btq bone stock from a 2.0L Ecotec, with a 6-speed stick.

yes it's kinda heavy, 3700lbs is the estimate. but it's only like 200lbs heavier than my LT1 with 5bhp less and 30btq less (but packing that torque from 2400-4900rpm). i'm guessing mid-low 14's with triple digit traps bone stock, and tune/exhaust cars breaking into the 13's.
sounds like a sleeper to me.

Car looks great but personally I think the only thing that stands out about it in its class in regards to performance is that its making that kind of power from a turbo'd 4 and it offers a stick. Most V6 midsize cars (Fusion, Camry, Accord) these days are capable of mid 14's and make similiar power. Wish it were RWD.

I know the 260bhp turbo Ecotec that the Cobalt has can lay down 330whp with just a tune and some basic exhaust work. If the regal is anything like that, and if the 6-speed offsets the weight, then the regal may be just as impressive.
