I don't, not for a damn second, but evidentaly it has happened. I called BS over on the TBSS forum, but it seems as if I am out numbered by fellow SSer's, lol. What's the deal guys, can it happen?

Hrmm, well stock to them means weight reduction with tune / CAI and I'm sure something else thrown in (e-fan? mechanical fan bypassed / removed?). That's not stock, and really pulling glory passes with negative DA isn't anything new. However they are claiming consistent passes. Timing @ the track off?

Around here the TBSS' have their hands full with the Jeep SRT8s mod for mod like you mentioned, something just seems off with their claims.

I've been lurking on that site for about 2-3 years now. They have some of the biggest morons. I've seen near bone stock TBSS claim they beat Cammed Mustangs, Cammed LS1's, bolt on TBSS's beating Pullied and Ported Cobras from a roll, etc.

The guy I raced claimed he only have 2-3 mods. Come to find he had Cams, about 300-400lbs of weight reduction, and some other things.

Those trucks move out, but come on, they run low 14's @ best from the factory, so a tune only drops over a full second and gives them 7 more MPH? I won't believe it until I see real proof.

Exactly. The "cam only" term is well known by now that it definitely doesn't mean just a cam, it means everything except heads basically. But now it appears as if they want to throw around "intake/tune only" pretty loosely as well. I finally got out of him that the front and rear passenger seats were removed. He's claiming 800' DA, which is only 400' less than I was running when I pulled a 13.7 at 99mph with literally just a tune. I can see him running a low 13 with all that weight reduction, tune, an intake, and better air, but not a 12.9 and definitely not 7 mph faster than mine.

These guys are bad about posting outlandish kills. I've come close to linking some of the spats in their S/S section to this forum, but I'm pretty sure there are rules against that, so I don't.... but you guys really should head over there and read some of the stories, especially the one titled "new camaro" or some of the SRT-8 stories.. there are some good ones over there and some hard core fanbois. Pretty funny.

A H/C TBSS kills a KB 07 Roush that makes like 440 RWHP, yet the TBSS runs mid 12's @ 108?

I like the one where this guy rapes a new 2011 5.0 and they call it the 5.slow, and they still call the rustangs, LOL.

LS1truck.com is a very fun time as well. They beat 500+ RWHP Cobra's with their 15 second trucks. haha
