Default 06 gt vs a few cars

i just ordered a steeda cai and an sct x3 tune from brenspeed earlier today and i can't wait to get it! anyways now that my car won't be as stock as it was, i wanted to see how i would do against a few cars. 2011 camaro ss 6 spd (dads car), 2010 challenger rt manual, and a charger srt 8 stock, and a 6.0 gto. roll races and dig races. also, what kind of trap speeds do manual gt's like mine get with just the intake and tune? 104.xx is the highest i've seen stock, so would a 107+ would be attainable?

I touched 108.8 with a custom tune, intake, UDPs, and 4.10s. Doubt you'll see over 107 mph with just an intake and tune, but you might! I can tell you from experience that your Pop's SS and the SRT-8 will have their hands full with you from a dig. They do have more top end than you do, so be expecting to get pulled on from a roll, not bad, but enough to set you back a car or two. That RT should get left in the dust.

haha alright sweet, im glad to hear that i'd leave the rt back in the dust. i had a run in with one a couple weeks ago, and he didn't start realing me in until higher speeds which i was surprised about. i haven't gotten my dad to run me in his camaro, but we did a fun run when he had his 07 carrera 4S from a 35 roll in 2nd and he pulled away from me. the camaro has had higher traps then the c4s so i'd figure the outcome would be similar or worse for me. i'm really excited to get it. ready to see how big of a difference it'll make

stone how would i do against a stock 6.0 gto? i've run one before, i didn't have a passenger but he did and it didn't seem like he pulled as much as he should've. i thought maybe a tune would help me out quite a bit if i run into another one

You'll beat the R/T Challenger from a roll or a dig due to the weight to power ratio, the Camaro, SRT8, and GTO will all probably pull on you if it's anything over an 1/8 mile from a dig, from a roll you'll be in trouble with all 3 of them because the weight becomes less of a factor and they put out much more horsepower. I believe the GTO makes 400hp, the Camaro and SRT8 are making 425, with your intake and a good tune you're probably making 335hp which isn't bad and should keep it interesting down low but once you get up top the horsepower difference will show.

My 06 mustang GT had a jlt intake/bama tune(s), 4.10s, Comp NSR stage 2 cams and steeda UDP. A guy that I see at the local strips has an 06 GTO with an intake and tune. We raced once at the 1/4 mile strip. We were pretty much neck and neck the whole way down the strip. Our time are within .1 to .2 of each other. About 4 mths ago, I wrecked the mustang at the drag strip. I bought an 04 GTO with an aftermarket cam, Long tubes, catted X and dyno tune. This car would easily beat my 06 Mustang.

How much is it making at the wheels? The 04 GTO was only a 5.7 right?

It made 391hp/361 tq. These cars respond very well to a cam (only one) and L/Ts

That's correct. The 05-06 came with the 6.0.
