f1r mustang vs strim mustang
these are both my buddies, just curious as to who you guys would think would win.
f1r car:
'01 gt 5.1mmr shortblock
ported heads/crower stage 3 blower cams
typhoon intake
procharger f1r-4.0 pulley at 14lbs
full exhaust
built 4r70 w/ 3k stall
built rear with 3.73's
18" wheels with 335 hoosier qtp's on the back
dyno'd at 540whp on pump gas
strim car:
'02 gt 4.75mmr shortblock
mmr stage 3 heads/cams
edelbrock intake
vortech v2 strim 2.8 pulley, boost level unknown
full exhaust
5speed trans
built rear with 3.73's
big and littles with 325/60/15 et streets out back
not dyno'd yet, will be on 93 pump with meth
My buddy and I just finished up his car(the strim car) and he's looking for 550+ out of the little strim. the f1r guy seems to think all his parts suck, he wont make any power, bla bla bla. so what we hope is gonna happen is that the small blower car outruns the big blower car just to prove a point that his parts all work. I personally think the s-trims gonna take the race. there's a good chance there will be money riding on this, it wont happen for a while but when it does it will deff be on camera. and it'll be hopefully both a dig and roll. opinions?

Your buddies car with just the heads and cams on a 3.33 pulley should be around the 480-490rwhp range. Dropping down to a 2.8 pulley should get him into the high 500's low 600 range. From a roll the s-trim should win pretty easily. From a dig it just depends on drivers.
