Street race with snow tires on
So it sound stupid, but my friend keeps wanting me to race him from a dig. He has a manual civic w/ a cai and thinks he will beat me from a dig. Even with my stupid open differential with snow tires, I should win this pretty easy, right? By the way, there is no snow on the ground here. Its been like 50 degrees here all week. Im loving it. lol

Oh, my bad. Its an 03 EX, 1.7 liter with V-TEC, BRO (sorry, just had to do it. haha). I always beat him from rolls but Im just worried I wont catch traction with my blizzaks. Only thing he has going for him is the car is only like 2500 lbs and he's a pretty good driver.

Depending on which model Si it is and his shifting skills, you might take a loss... Either way, it'll be a close race no matter which civic he has.
The snow tires are a bad idea, make sure you know the speed rating beforehand because many of them don't go above 99mph. And the snows are designed for biting into snow/ice, not dry pavement grip so that might hurt you out of the hole too...
Just saw your edit lol. The 1.7 base models were pretty lackluster, so I would bet you have this one unless those snow tires REALLY mess up your launch. You could really do with some gears man.

A blowout at that speed WILL kill you. And if it doesn't, you're not walking away without some lost/damaged appendages.
My current blizzaks will start to get scary around 110mph, and my old firestone winterforce tires would lose their **** at anything over 100 flat for more than a few seconds.
