Default 01 Lightning vs 07 GT

Alright guys, Ive been a new edge guy and dont really know the 3v platform to well and how well they respond to bolt ons. My buddy and I are racing this sunday at a event in Bradenton and wanna hear what you guys think the outcome will be as I have no clue with his new mods and we havent ran with our new mods. I will update the outcome sunday evening but wanna see what you all think.

His 07 GT:
best ET was 14.01 spinning on stock tires minus TB, Mani, UD (crappy track and needs driver mod a lil)

Current Mods-
FRPP Manifold
FRPP 4.10s w/ hurst shifter
Steeda UD
K&N CAI
Flowmaster axle back with offroad X
BBK TB
custom tuned with Diablo Predator
racing with Nitto 555r on stock 17" wheel

My 01 Lightning:
best ET 13.4 at same crappy track/night as his best (stock weight, tires, and K&N drop in)

Current Mods-
4lb lower pulley pushing 12-13lbs (stock is 8lbs)
Ported TB
Small port on S/C
JLT CAI
Magnaflow exhaust w/o cats
custom tune with Diablo Predator
racing on Nitto 555r with stock 18" wheel
350lbs removed from truck

If you guys are unsure of a Lightning with bolt-ons/pulley swap, my similar setup can run 12.7-12.9 with good track prep on DRs.

should be pretty close, but I think you'll edge him out if you get traction.

I think you've got him. A lot of it is due to his lack of driver mod, but even still I think your truck is a couple tenths quicker at least.

fruhdaddy unless you put 400 lbs of bags filled with sand (aka sandbags) in the bed of your lightning you should have this one in the bag..

sorry about the wrong section, its been awhile. All runs should be on vid, we have a friend in the stands. I also have a race gas tune he dont know about that I will use if he is getting too close to me. Hopefully the track holds and is prepped really well. Stay tuned guys!
