you should go get your car dyno'd or something, no way it's at 520 hp area if you're beating a car with similar weight, trans, and gearing but that has 100 more hp. just doesn't add up unless the driver doesn't know wtf he's doing. the other races seem good tho. that gt500 should be making similar whp except he's fat haha.

Idk man, my car isn't making a ton. On the old motor tune it had 30 degrees of timing, .055 gapped plugs and ran the same A/F ratio and put down 426whp SAE. Now it has 27 degrees of timind, .038 gapped plugs so if I had to guess it's making 410whp area on motor. The car just wakes the hell up on the kit, it loves nitrous like a fat kid loves cake lol. Don't forget torque numbers, I was probably making similar or more torque than the saleen plus my car is still a little lighter, if I had to guess 150lbs or so lighter.

at 50+ rolls it's moreso about the hp than the torque, and 150lbs isn't enough to make up for 100+ hp.

I've seen your ride, it's one of those F-bodies that straight up makes your eyes go big when it launches.

From a stop you, definitely... don't care if the Cobra had 800WHP

from a roll? cobra

No, so op has drag racing setup that from as far as I can see is able to put all of his torque to the ground off the line... aka, a proper setup

This is the OP's car

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kSrn...ature=youtu.be

the owner of that GT500 claims 740WHP

should be close from a 50 roll... if the cobra slips even a tiny bit @ 50MPH it's all over for it though IMO, it's hard to go against a car putting down 100% of it's 500+/500+ power at any given speed if you yourself are making silly power and aren't set up to apply it

My guesstimate? The WS6 by a car and a half - two cars under the circumstances that the cobra catches some kind of traction because you gotta look at it like this, this cobra is making over 600WHP and 550ft lbs tq running 4.10 gears... a 50MPH roll isn't exactly hit it and quit it territory, even on drag radials... This of course is under the assumption the cobra itself does not have cheater slicks and skinnies.

don't let us down with videos man

these are 50+ rolls man, suspension doesn't mean much of anything, only thing that matters is tires, does it spin or not. obviously it looks like the op wont have issues there, unless the '98 cobra are on street tires I dont see how he pulled that one out. the gt500, yeah no way he's near 740whp. a tune pulley and cai I could see at 600whp MAX, however that car weighs around 3800lbs, unlike the op who's prolly around 3100 from the sounds of it?

I'm not cobra nut swinging here even tho it sounds like it. if the op raced these cars from a dig, then by all means it'd be the op all the way over both. I just dont see how he pulled out the w against the '98 other than for 2 reasons, the driver cant shift, or his numbers are heavily inflated.
