Default Will it go 10s?

So ive made a change and added some nice power up top with the edelbrock intake...went from about 385 to 430-440 rwhp but the power is pretty much only increased above 4500 rpms, mostly 5k-6k.

Will this be enough to take me from 11.35 into the 10s?

Id really like to get a 10.99 slip but im not sure if it will be enough.....

I would imagine it takes a lot more power to go faster when your running low 11s vs low 14s so I figure this my not be enough.

Only one way to find out, but it's more effective for you to drop 4 tenths by working on the 60' than by adding 50hp at the top of the tach.

Yea, that is true.....

What do you think would be the best bang for the buck 60 foot mod?

Ive got mm control arms but other than that im pretty much just slammed on sportlines. lol

do you have a limited slip? regearing could go a long ways depending on what your gears are now.

i dont think it'll be enough. i'd guess you'll get around an 11.20 or so. for suspension i'd say get some baseline relocated uppers, and either some drag struts/shocks or some adjustables. that should be good for atleast .1 off the 60's when adjusted right, so you'd be awefully clsoe to that 10.99 slip. and that'll be sick to see with a stock longblock 4.6!

Yea, id really like to see 10.99 with the stock motor.

I know I had some time left in shift points last time and that extra power up top has to be worth atleast a .1-.2 at the track....but I may get stuck in the 11.0-11.2 range. lol

Ill probably run it and see what it does before I touch anything just so I can accurately gauge if a suspension part helped me or not.

Looks like the track is opening up feb 17th

what kind of 60's were you getting before? and when you said you could take off the sway bar is that the front or the rear? if the fronts still on and connected, taking that off at the track will help.
