Default should I try for 11's on my current setup?

If everything works out right I'm hoping to have my forged/cammed longblock assembled by the end of this week. however part of me wants to wait until after the track opens in april to put it in so i can try and get 11's as my car sits. The only changed i'd make are a better tune, longtubes, and 28" slicks so i can leave on the spray. I'll leave the jetting the same, i just feel like if i dont get 11's on this setup i'm doing something wrong lol. So my ss guys, should I just say screw it and throw in the motor and up the jets, or be patient and give this one last chance?

yep, i'd up the power... if it were me i'd feel that 11 second slip didn't mean much after my next slip that is a lot faster. And, i'd be disapointed if i didn't run my new/best setup in the best air right away. that's my thoughts anyway.

Swap it asap. You don't want to wait until the last second before the track opens to do it (in case there are any hiccups, bugs, etc).

well I just threw my nitrous plate and 150 jets in my car this weekend. and this week I prolly wont get a chance to throw the motor together since I'm finishing up my buddies car for the tuners on tuesday. So right now I'm thinking of going to the track the first time with the 150 shot, mainly so i'll be able to see how much the cams help with the nitrous even tho they're not technically nitrous cams.

wait a second

spare motor.

car has nitrous.

you'd be crazy not to put a 200 shot on it and see what it would do.... atleast thats my logic.
