Suprized today!
A bunch of my friends put together a dyno day and I decided to give it a go even though I'm on a stock tune and plan on getting dyno tuned anyway. The only performance mods to my '02 Z06 are K&N intake, Texas Speed long tube headers, 3" O/R X pipe and Borla exhaust. I was expecting anywhere from 370-390 rwhp considering other Z06s with my mods and tuned usually put down about 385.
What I was not expecting was 403.8 rwhp and 430.6 rwtq. And still on a factory tune as far as I know! I was really impressed. To make this thread bench racing relevant, what do you guys think my car will do in the 1/4 now with some decent DRs?

Dyno's read diff. Your old 1/8 times will give a better prediction of 1/4 times than a dyno.
Lol.. My old set-up trapped 93/94mph in the 1/8 (no reduction then) on just 93 and it dynod 308 on this one dyno. But that was a Mustang dyno that's claimed to read 20% off or a dynojet down the road.. Just saying numbers vary too much.

The last time I went to the 1/8th mile I didn't have the headers on yet and the track conditions were horrible. I was even spinning in 3rd. After I get some good DRs I will be looking for a good 1/4 mile track!

I can tell you're pumped and wanted to boast a little bit. Nice numbers. Do you know what the make/model of the dyno was? How were the ambient/bay temps? They didn't have any fans or blower fans simulating driving conditions? This kind of **** always interests me.

All the dyno info is in the top left of the print out that I posted. I don't know any more info than that. Here is a pic of the temps and humidity immediately after my run:
They had one big fan in front of the car, and one blower that was blowing air at the grill. I put my hand in front of my air filter to see if any of the air was getting to it through the grill and couldn't feel anything, but it was defiantly helping cool off the engine.
Thanks blue, I think that sounds pretty close.

yep, dyno #s mean nothing, 1/4 mile is where you'll find out how fast your car is. my '07 GT with near full bolt-ons (missing headers + mid pipe) dyno'd at 265whp, about 20-30whp less than most. but I was running really good 1/4 mile times, for here. (13.5@102, da corrected to 12.7@109).. and they do SAE correct dyno #s so it doesn't matter what the weather is like. It's possible between runs he just updated the SAE correction and gave you extra correction, they can make a dyno read as low or high as they want, maybe he thought something was off because of how low your friends were seeing so he gave it a little bump, and over did it, maybe it is right on...
Blue's guess at the 1/4 mile time is about what i would guess, which would be the same whether you gave us dyno #s or not...

Nice numbers...are those SAE or STD? That appears to be the same kind of dyno I made my numbers on... If you could hook on DRs I would put you mid 11s @ 120+...my friends 2003 Z06 went 11.25 @ 123mph with 389rwhp and ET streets... just a matter of hooking up.
Actual breakdown..
60' - 1.580
1/8 - 7.195 @ 97.83
1/4 - 11.259 @ 123.71
Edit: He did have 3.90s instead of stock gearing.
