Supercharged 4.6 vs 5.0 -- Who wins?

From another site showing the Coyotes with bolt ons are real strong. I don't know all the details on the 2011 though.

a bolt-on 5.0 vs an m90 s/c 4.6 is a drivers rice, stock 5.0 vs s/c 4.6L easy obviously in the forced induction corner. 6spd vs 5spd isn't an issue, other than the extra gear to move into, and all the advantages/disadvantes of going from a 5spd to a 6spd. mod for mod the 5.0 is vastly superior to the 4.6l 3v. The bigger difference between them isn't the transmission, it's how high the 5.0 can rev and stay in it's powerband, combined with the 6spd... and the hp figures.

Add a "VMP 500" or similar to your setup and you're set - easy win against a stock 5.0 and you will edge out a bolt-on one. With your other mods, you can expect to trap 115 - 117, or more, depending how you drive.

Yea, it's a good deal but you can't just get the 2.49, you need the steeda CAI. The roush intake will not work with a small pulley as the MAF housing is too small. The intake is $250 I think, and then you need a tune. Maybe you can get a used M90, most people who sell them had the upgrades along with them.

I just had my car dyno'd last weekend, and my buddy came with me that has an m90 supercharged 3 valve.
my car pulled 388 rwhp, and his pulled 385 rwhp.
He is running low boost with a conservative tune from roush that he hates. I am confident that I would pull on his car. I am sure it has more potential with a better tune, but imo m90's are a waste of time, if i were you and was going to put down the money I would go with the roush TVS blower.
m90's are a waste of time.
Edit: unless your looking for reliability
