'12 3.7l v6 vs Ls1 t/a
The boy with the skittle I ran a while back tried to get me to come out this past friday for a little fun. Given it being a holiday weekend, I bowed out due to the fuzz, and my 'need' for being intoxicated, lol.
But, that said, Im curious as to what ya'll think a couple outcomes would be. One, the boy with the skittle as since gotten tuned, and is running pretty good supposedly. Its a S2 car, intake, tune, wastgate, fmic, etc. Dunno about the power, but he put 3-4 cars on me when I had a rider, I put ~1 on him when he had the rider. How much do yall think that tune helped? Heres a reference to how it was before....

Scenario #2: His buddy has an auto Ls1 t/a, only mods I know of are full LT exhaust, gears, ls6 intake, tune. Say Im on at least a MT dr, on the racestars, how far could I hold'em off from a dig/very low roll if he's on street rubber? I think I could hold him off till 100, then he'll really start reeling me in. Depending on how far I jump out, and how far we decide to run, will be the deciding factors (obviously). I have me down by 1.5-2 up to 125, unless he really hits spin-city. 30-40 rolls would be murderous I know, but they will probably go down too, just to see
Of course, these runs will be recorded, and equal passengers will be in each vehicle this time.

have you done anything since the last time you raced the skittle? if not he's going to get you. for reference the one i raced, first time i got him by a car, second time he added a tune and wot box, i added blower cams, and he got me by 2-3 cars.
I also see the ls1 being a VERY hard one for you to win. it might be a bad weekend for you man.

Nah, not a bad weekend per se.... I dont get all that bent outta shape. Losing sucks, but it is what it is, can't win'em all! Im kinda at the point where, If I lose, they beat a v6... If I win, I did it with a v6

That Stg 2 SRT should be that much faster with the tune.
The LS1, I can see you jumping him from a dig, but I highly doubt you'll be able to hold him off to 100mph. If he's running a stock tune with all those mods, then I think you should be able to take him to 60mph, but after that I see him rolling past you and putting a couple cars on you by 100-110mph. I could be wrong, its all going to depend on how he launches.
If he has that auto tuned, as soon as he hits 2nd gear he should be gone. Most tuned automatics have the shift pressure bumped way up making for some nasty shifts. Not to mention the 17-25rwhp or so that the stock tune leaves on the table.

I will admit it was my idea to go on through with the run since both these boys are foamong out the mouth to run a the 3.7..... I figured if he he does it make both of em work for the win. Dont cater to there want of a higher roll since both have the pull of a freight train. The srt owner said pre tune that from a dig it suckand it still spins from a 1stthe gear roll so it'll be worse with more power.
If I remember right one of our fellow street strip members posted a video somewhere of a 20 roll with stock 3.23's

The guy that owns the t/a I'm about positive he doesnt drive as well as stone. He's on street tires and I would only think 3.73 or 4.10's would make a spin happy car anything under a 20. With a know fact of the 3.7 being able to dead hook I believe he could from a dig hold the skittle off till close to the top of 4th and hold the t/a off till 85-100 and have about 1-1.5 cars put on him by the top of 4th.
Greddy the reason so much differnce was made wth 1 passenger was bc of 310 pounds going from one car to the other.
