He doesn't seem very tech savvy so I doubt it.

Yeah, I agree. I should have been more selective/ specific with my words. I am talking about your "basic bolt ons". I don't consider a cam a "basic" bolt on.. But I do concede the point they can be faster than 14.8 without a blower or NOS.

Either way you just Tuned it, installed a cam, and exhaust, and still only puts the cars in stock 05-09 Mustang GT territory.

PS- As stated before I owned a 2004 4x4 4 full door LE (loaded). It was a pig. I never tracked it, and it was stock, but I would be amazed if it got into the 15s.

I tried not to be cocky about it, but I did offer to put some money down on it if he really thought he could beat me.

Mustang GT territory? Cams and exhaust really do that much for them? I didn't know they were even that capable.

It is pretty funny how people think their trucks are fast, because of all the TORK!!! my dad's truck that he gave me, '76 chevy 400ci v8, he thinks it's fast/has a lot of power, and when he bought it in '75 it did have a lot of power for back then. now it feels terribly slow to me, sure it'll spin the tires even from a roll but 0-60 is way slower than i'm used to from my '07 GT and my current. It feels comparable to a new 4cyl or like a 90's 6 cyl. now

anyway, I think it's a common thing for truck owners to think their truck is faster than it is, it also feels like you are going faster when you are sitting high up.

Sorry if I am unclear: My point:

05-09 Mustang GT (STOCK) Mid 13 second car with a decent driver.

So ***IF*** a Tuned, Full exhaust, Cammed Titan breaks into the 13s, It would be just starting to poke into STOCK Mustang territory (meaning close 1/4 mile times).

OP has a modified Mustang GT, and the Titan in question is most likely stock. So this really is a no brainer, but ***IF*** this Titan has the above mentioned modifications, it is still a not much of a race based off the modifications the OP has.

Not to mention OP claims to make more HP to the wheels, than the Titan (stock) makes at the crank and his Mustang is well over 1000 lbs lighter. I can't even see why this is a question.

What's next wondering if my Stock 5.0 can beat a Hyundai Accent?

The one I raced ran 14.5 at the track. But he hung decently well from a 40 roll. Granted I'm down in power to the OP.

I was just wondering because he seemed 100 percent certain that he would beat me(think ferrari racing a semi truck certain).

I haven't been dynoed, but if I don't have more than 317 rwhp now I'll be sad.
