Default re-ran my buddies 5.0, now with my pulleys installed

my buddy installed my steeda udp's for me last week, can't really tell if the car feels all that much faster but my buddy ran me in his now stock '11 5.0 6 spd. my buddy is the one who ran an 11.93@ 113.9 in his 5.0 with the ford racing tune. anyways its about 98-100 out, and i'm running 87 octane tune and we go from 40-110 and we stayed pretty even until about 80 when he started moving out. shut down at 110-115 and he had about a car and a half on me. last time we ran he was misfiring and i just had intake/93 brenspeed tune. i felt like i held up pretty good against him, he's got a quick car. his buddy has a stock 95 nsx that i might run. how would i do against that do you guys think? i don't know enough about them

Your buddy is stock except for the ford racing tune and he ran 11.93? If that's the case I'd like to see the slip.

power wise he was stock, he had suspension work done, but it shows what the car is capable of with a good driver

Suspension and slicks will get a 114 trap into the 11s. I'm more suprised you car did so well with the limited mods in your sig. Congrats.

The power is there for a 5.0 to run a high 11 with a tune, its just going to take one hell of a 60' to do. I'm surprised you did so well too, OP. Good run man!

I don't consider a car to "stock" if it is on DR's, that makes all the difference in the world.

Neither do I. Tires are a major mod imo.

Your car did VERY well to hang with a new 5.0 for any length of time. My '11 V6 is usually a good run for a mostly stock '05-'09 3V Mustang.
