For every tenth that you shave from the 60 ft by way of better traction, that will drop one tenth from the ET, not two. Been doing this for years. Timeslips don't lie.

A couple weeks ago, I ran 11.74 on a 1.73 60' and a 11.66 on a 1.67, so .06 seconds off the 60' dropped about a tenth. Its a rough estimation and every car is different.

i went from a 1.77, 11.67@119.8 to a 1.69 11.49@119.5. so .08 dropped me .18 et wise. like stone said every car is different, from previous runs for me it seems like the average is closer to every .1 off the 60 is around .15 off the e/t.

This is also one of those cases where DA correcting before making the adjustment can make a big difference... I have timeslips that will prove one tenth off my 60ft gained me 2 tenths in ET (as in slower).
