Bored and the weather sucks...
Made the trip home today in these conditions...
Car felt fantastic and it started to make me wonder how I would do against a friends car he picked up this year.
2006 Roush stage 3. I believe he made 368rwhp (I'll add the numbers later after I verify)... 275s on the back... Street tire to street tire.
I don't know what kind of times they normally run but on paper I think it would be a good matchup for me. I am waiting on a Dyno tune until I rebuild my trans over the winter so this is out until spring but I might be able to get it lined up at the spring rental when the tracks open again.
temperature = 25.0 deg f
relative humidity = 69 %
uncorrected barometer* = 29.68 Hg
corrected barometer* = 30.36 Hg
density altitude = -2017.37 ft

Is it very hard to get traction for your car this time of year?
I have been thinking about putting the all season wheels/tires on the 99 and driving that to work once in a while. I remember how much stronger the car feels in colder temps...pretty sweet.

Yeah it's kind of stupid... First just spins (all the way to 55) and I get traction in 2nd after brief wheelspin. I'm on Kumho AST all seasons so it's a lot better than it would be on a performance tire but my god the pull is great. I get a taste of what the fast guys feel everyday. Haha
I spend all winter in 6th just slowly making my way, it's too unpredictable to really get on it much... They are starting to treat the roads too so a nice layer of salt makes it impossible to get traction under power.

This colder weather makes the power for sure. Love it, but the traction is getting worse by the day it seems like. I'm back on street tires for now and it sucks, pointless to hit it under 50-55 mph. I'd think you and that stage 3 would be a good match for the most part. I'd like to see a higher roll between you two.
