How badly am I going to get yanked? It has full exhaust without a tune and I believe it's a m6. Although he says he'll get a tune soon. He just bought the car and is dumping hella money into it. I told him if only go from a dig. I know that's my only shot. If we go from a dig, do you guys think I can hold him off till 100? I'm assuming he doesn't know his car very well. Or am I bring too optimistic? This should take place after I put my shocks/struts and replace my rear differential leak.

an 01 bullit is basically the same as an 01 GT. The Z28 has a LS1 motor and those don't take much to go fast(er)

Unless you have some mods like gears, headers, and a tune or, he can't drive. 0-100 will be a walk for him.

I have 3.73's, o/r x-pipe, and a canned tune. I have also gone 13.7's in my car and he doesn't have any track experience. Not saying that I'm a pro by any means. I may take off my dd bullitts and throw my stockers on to save a little but of weight

If he can half way drive, he should be a solid second faster than you in the 1/4. Chances are he'll fight for traction from a dig since he's new to that LS1, but once ya'll get rolling he's going to come around you pretty hard.

You're going to get smoked pretty good. Like Stone said, he's about a full second and 8mph faster in the quarter. But hey, if it means anything, I'd rather have the Bullitt.

FWIW my current mod list put me back 800.00, if he knows what he is doing he wont have to drop hella money into it.

I think from a dig you would get out in front with your strip experience but by the the time you hit 3rda he's gonna come rolling by you. By 120 when you run 4th gear iut I'd see him an easy 3-5 cars out on you

Will do, I'll make sure his gf is in his car recording it. Well, it was stock until he added headers, an x-pipe, a cat back, lowered it and maybe a cai. however much that is i dunno. i just hope he doesn't know how to drive lol Fwiw that 540i I raced a while back lost to an A4 z28 that is stock by about 5 lengths. I figured my fate would be the same

My ET is in my sig. He has the same mods as my Z28, but he has a better trans and steeper gears. If he can get anything even resembling traction then you would do well to stay within one second of him.
