Not sure, I know what its capable of on paper but what its actually going to do with me in it is another story. We rented the track and I'm going to be racing a friend of mine with a 427 big block Nova. I have more HP and TQ then he does and my car is lighter by about 300 lbs. He has two things on me, auto and track experience.
Going to be a good race and lots of fun...

I know this is an old thread but, I went to the track for the first time in 42 years. Did a 12.01 @ 116. Made some mods and have not been able to get back to the track. Right now the car is getting a new Magnum XL 6 speed installed..
As for the Nova, never made it. He has a 454 big block (he tells everyone its a 427) that looks more like a chicken. lol

That 60 foot isn't that bad, your trap speed seems pretty low 490rwhpfor , I know theres a weight difference but we have a couple 400-415rwhp 97s that trap 115-118 might wanna drop down to a 26 inch slick, im assuming thsoe are 28s or 29s which you don't really need so there just slowing u down a tad

Yeah, I'm running 28's, 4:10 rear and in the next few days I'll have a Tremec Magnum XL 6 speed with a 2.66 first gear. I would not have thought the 28's would decrease my trap speed. Going through the traps I'm at about 6300 rpm. The rev limiter is set at 6500. So I figured 28's were about right. Am I wrong?
