Assuming mrt's car is all ready to go we're planning on meeting up this upcoming sunday to do a few races. My setup has stayed the same since our last years with the exception of a little spray, on the juice I picked up 70whp/100ft lbs. Mrt on the other hand should be on kill mode. He's changed from a stock ls1 to a 370ci shortblock, same heads/intake but a better cam(he'll have to add the specs). However he did say it's an iron block so he'll be gaining some weight, he'll also be doing a 100 shot on top of it. That said we'll be doing some lower rolls on motor and since I'm assuming we'll both spin on spray at anything under 40-50mph we'll do some higher rolls on the juice. I'm thinking he's going to outrun me on both races, maybe be a really tight one on motor but on spray I think his car will pick up more than mine and he'll take the edge. I guess only time will tell tho! What's everyones expectations?

Regardless of the outcome I think this race will be much more interesting. From what i'm told I should gain about 40 more hp with this setup, and every bit of that much in tq. Specs on the new cam are 612/612 lift, 236/242 duration, LSA 113+4. It's quite a bit more aggressive than my last cam. Also compression will be up a little as well. Off the bottle I think it will be really close this time

my $ is on Greddy...only bc he is more acclimated to his power setup.

Good point Purp, but since it's a roll race I really don't think it will matter much to be honest. As long as no one spins or misses a shift we should be good to go

as mrt said. Its a roll race it wont matter as much. Is that camaro an auto or manual mrt? and would you be interested in a few races with me with you on the spray of course lol.

It's a 6-speed manual with 4.10's. Sure i'll run you, but at 660 rwhp I think we both know who will win lol
