Default What can I do?

Hey fellow S/S guys! I'm headed to the track this Wednesday night! I'm looking for some improvement over my last trip. New mods are new bfg kdw 2's, new wheels (not big little set up :/) and 4.10's. Other mods are mid pipe and cat back, and a canned tune. Here is my best et slip and video. I'm in the left lane. What do you guys think I can do?

I'm sure you know your 60ft is what's killing you, getting that beast to hook to a 1.7 - 1.8 and BAM !!! mid 11's, hopefully the gears and tires are going to help that much. And with a trap speed like that, maybe even lower. Good luck.

LOL your other left.

Crash with some good traction you should be able to hit some low 13s.

LOL A second with a better sixty would be awesome. All jokes aside, getting that sixty down to 1.9 will help alot.

I wish I could do my other left lol. I was just happy I broke into 13's on my first trip to the track. My friends were placing bets that I wouldn't get out of 14's at all, ******** lol. At least he didn't launch well. I know my 60' sucks *** but in my defense, that was my first time ever on the strip and I had bald *** all season tires. I hoping with my new street tire that I'll hook better. I'm mounting some new wheels that weigh 8-10 lbs lighter than these deep dish bullitts that I have. That should have some effect since the rotational mass load will be lightened. Does anyone think a 1.9 60' is a possibility on bfg kdw 2's? And ube's if I drove my car only 200 miles a year I'd ditch the IRS...maybe

Any predictions???

I'm on the smartphone app so I can't see your sig or your mods, but should ask is this a manual or auto.

I was hella wondering is he serious or being an *** haha. Ya I'm in the left lane. I'm a manual, x-pipe, cat back, 4.10's, canned tune. I need more power but imma cheap ***. I'd love to run low 13's but I think I'll be happy with a sub 13.5. I was thinking my trap ain't that good lol.

A 1.9 sixty is doable in any rear drive car. Just gotta learn to peddle it out of the hole. Takes practice. The BFG are good tires. The trap speed seams normal to me for that year Mustang.
