Dyno guesses...

Dyno guesses...
Finally found a new place to Dyno.... They just got it in the ground and working. Other shop moved so the closest place is 3hours a way and wanted 120 for 2 pulls. :/
Feb 8th I'll be heading to the Dyno.... 224x dynojet. Let's hear the guesses.
I'll try to be complete here....if I miss anything I'll update later.
TMS shortblock 5.7L
241 heads
02 LS6 cam
Ls6 yellow springs
Hardened 7.425 pushrods
Ls7 lifters
Ls6 intake
Ls2 timing chain
Melling hp oil pump
1 3/4 BBK long tubes
Ls7 clutch kit
MTI LID
Free ram air
Hp tuners (tuned by me... :/ if the tune is junk obviously I'll be making crap numbers)
I have a pretty good idea based on what others have done with nearly identical mods but I'll let you guys rough me up a bit. .

How aggressive did you go on the tune at WOT? How much timing, etc...
I'd say that if you went somewhat aggressive on the tune, then you should squeeze 365-370ish RWHP out of it on the dynojet. I hope it does that or better.

I currently see 24-25 peak timing at WOT. It's one area I'm worried about though from reading the 01+ cars needed less timing. My base tune is from a Dyno tuned car with the same mods (different brand of header but same size). I believe my numbers will come in lower due to tuning but I can get that worked out later.
Some light reading.... (I'm going to guess 370rwhp/360rwtrq and pray for more)
376 rwhp and 361 rwtq
379rwhp 366rwtrq
393rwhp 388rwtq
auto 12 bolt - 371rwhp 351rwtrq
378 RWHP 367 rwtrq

Those cars pulling mid 370s and higher are suspicious.. an ls6 cam should gain 10-15 peak rwhp easily, most or all being over 4500 rpm. There's definitely some benefit to making power up to 6500 and expanding the curve which is what really has me considering the ls6 as well, but I just don't see over 370 happening. Although mine was an automatic, it pulled 380ish with milled 243s and a GT11 cam (213/231 .61 118.5 LSA) and 370 on the GT2-3 cam (207/220 duration @ .050 lift -.571/.578 lift). It might do it though, its obviously happened before.

He's running stock heads (241) man..with some ls2/243 heads he'd be getting another 15 or so at the wheels, 20-25 if they were milled for a compression bump. That L99 of yours is in a whole different ballpark than these old ellis juans. Greddy works at Livernois and keeps me posted on their new SS/LS3 projects..cars are making HIGH 400s with just a cam and bolt-ons.

Flow #'s (Stock heads @ 28") Head vs Lift
Head/.200/.300/.350/.400/.450/.500/.550/.600
LS1 / 137/ 187/ 207/ 223/ 228/ 237/ 242/ 243
LS6 / 156/ 204/ 225/ 243/ 257/ 268/ 275/ 278
My understanding is I'm only giving up 10-15rwhp with 243s... it will be interesting.
Naturally we all understand Dyno numbers... The one I am visiting is a generous dynojet... I'm sure Stone would have made a lot more on it than he did on the one he used.
