Default ran my buddy's charger srt 8

a year or so back i ran door to door with an srt 8 charger on the freeway and a few people were surprised that i kept up as was i. tonight my buddy and i ran our cars for fun. we know of a road thats a few miles long that is completely straight so we did two rolls. the first roll was a 20, i was in first as was he with his autostick mode. i spun as did he but once i got second i started to pull, his nose stayed at my door/back of my wheel when we shut it down at 80 and i felt like that was when i was starting to pull, even he thought that. we then did a 40 roll and i put half a car on him up to about 60 then he started reeling it back in but i stopped his pull and held him off until we shut it down at about 110 or so, his front bumper was at the back of my door. i've got intake/breenspeed 87 tune/straightpipes/steeda udp's/roush lowering springs and new spark plugs. my buddy has a custom widebody 06 charger srt 8 with intake, exhaust, pulley's, stock tune. the widebody doesn't add much weight at all he said but he's got some big rims in the back haha. we're going to run them again when he puts his tune back on, i was running 87 so i'll run 93 next time. i was impressed with my car to say the least, 97k miles and it still runs strong

Very nice, good kill. Now it's time to get to a track for some times. Congrats.

thanks guys appreciate it. we were both shocked at how my car ran. i really think i got a stronger running mustang, i usually thought srt 8's pulled 3v's with the mods that i have. when i was stock i did quite a few pulls with a stock ls2 6.0 gto. the guy had a passenger and i was by myself. but from 50-110 or so he would only put about a car and a half or so on me, even that guy was shocked saying i was the only gt who had ever kept up with him like that. i'm really curious to see what i would dyno right now. i was guessing it would be 300-315 at the wheels. stone dynoed almost 320 with the sames mods i have with the addition of 4.10's

Run him from a DIG

They do much better from a DIG than a roll considering how heavy they are.

I never raced an SRT in my 08 3v but I don't think I'd with with my auto and 4.10's.

he didn't want to go from a dig haha. he said he'd spin but then again i'm almost positive i would. our dig/low roll race was a 10-15 roll and i put about 3/4 car on him from 15-90
