Hell Hio has gone 11.0 @ 131 with 413rwhp bolt on ls6 at 3100lbs... right setup can do amazing things.

Here is the mod list (as I said it's the extreme end...point was they can make some power) the suspension, etc just makes it ET like an animal.

Car is believed to be 3020-3040lbs it was 2985lbs but he added weight...

That said I don't know this guys setup so Im guessing you have it but those donkey dick cams can make some power.
I can see low-mid 10s out of an extreme build & 440WHP. (Old school automatic transmission with a large stall, A ton of weight reduction, killer suspension.) Basically a full on track car. But it hard to imagine making that much power thru a motor that's not completely built.

S8er, I believe about 1% of the claims over there. Hio isn't in that 1%. A 1.39 414 rwhp bolt on ls6 at 130...that's one I didn't even entertain. Again, a lot of info being left out. I've just never seen anything even remotely close in person is all.

I do agree an extreme build like the one you linked running what it did. Not easy, but yea. Hio's claim has just always struck me as him telling half the story. I could very well be wrong, not saying I'm not.

The only reason I believe Hio is because its been done twice. VetteBoy is putting up near identical numbers with almost the same traps (better ETs though because he's not on a 10 bolt) in a C5 Z06. I understand being skeptical though, of course after seeing what Keith did in his bolt on LS1 as well as the other bolt on guys... its hard to ignore you know? Obviously some form of weight reduction is required but who doesn't remove spare tire/jack (nearly everyone has some form of weight reduction... some are gutted of course).

Fastest bolt on only ls1 list....(stock internal)...bolt on ls1s usually peak around 350-360rwhp (anything near 360 is likely a reaaaaal generous dyno)

Makes me wish I had ran on slicks/skinnies and done a little more weight reduction. Might of ran a high 10. Just hard to do that to such a low mileage car.

Several of those cars are in the 3100b range which isn't super hard to do with our cars. Im at 3370 now and all I've done was removed spare tire/jack and replaced all that heavy *** factory exhaust (I still have the bigass stock muffler so some weight to shed there yet). I think hitting 3200 wouldn't take a ton of effort... if this pile of **** ran right I think I could put up some pretty impressive numbers. Slicks skinnies and a solid launch is a serious game changer... but even with a high mileage car I know what you mean. Part of me hates modding the damn thing. Should have left it stock.

Hell I'd be lucky to cracked high 11's with the way my car is setup lol. I can't even spray till 3rd right now lol.

If the car in question has some weight reduction then it might give greddy a run, otherwise this should be an easy win for him IMO

Cam intake and exhaust? I'd think you've got this in the bag

I dropped the spare/tools, front sway, all the stock exhaust, front pass seat, air pump, and never ran on more than a 1/4 tank. Figured I dropped close to a 150 pounds for a 3300 pound car. Leaving at idle it would do 1.69-1.75 60s, so with a real set of tires/wheels it's a game changer like you stated. But after that initial weight reduction I ran out of places to drop more without really taking away from the comfort and appearance of the car. A/C is a must have down here with all the heat and rain we get so that was a no go. Power steering delete and A/C delete are good to do IF you do both, but without committing to stripping the car, it's borderline not even worth only doing one or two things. Gotta do it all to be worth it, if that makes sense. So far, I've stayed damn close to stock with the gto. Not sure how long the discipline is going to last though, lol.

You're on 555Rs? You should be able to get close off the bottle long as you go easy on the launch. Talking leaving at no more than 2500 and rolling into it. Good luck spraying those tires at the track lol
