Default Need help reading data log plus power guesses

Mainly making this thread for the help on the data log, i have two lines, fuel pump duty cycle, which appears nice then i have returnless fuel pump duty cycle which looks like poo. Which of these are the value you read when checking the fuel pump duty cycle ? It has me a little concerned.

returnless fuel pump duty cycle is what you wanna monitor, but I cant decipher anything from that screen shot. you can email me the datalog and I'll look at it if you want to ctgreddy@yahoo.com. Or, just watch it yourself. During the actual wot pull just watch it, and see what it gets to for a max number. 1.0 is basically 100% duty cycle. I see it says the max was .99, but that may have been a spike somewhere so you actually need to watch it while you're wot to verify.

God i wish i could speed up the playback speed. i will go back out here this sunday and make another log but itll be just one wot pull from a dig that way you dont have to sit through the city driving to get to a wot pull.

there we go, 2x speed thats what i needed, still figuring out this live link software

Some advice the next time you datalog, put rpm in also. That way it's easier to know for sure when your wot and what not lol. But from what I saw I think you're good man.

From my understanding, the returnless fuel pump duty cycle takes into account the complete fuel system. Where as just fuel pump duty cycle only accounts for one pump. I guess in your case where you have a single pump you can monitor either one, but for me it's much easier to just look at the returnless pump pid as it takes away all the guessing. the fpdc pid is like lidio said, 0-.5 and the rfpdc pid is 0-1.0.

.5 and 1.0 meaning 100%. So as long as I was looking at the correct place in the logs(128-136) you were 76% duty cycle at it's highest point(not including the spikes). That was .76 on the rfpdc and .38 on the fpdc which are both essentially the same number.

That said, a 76% with basically no help from the bap and you should be fine man. Might as well try turning the bap completely off when you get your tune and as long as it's good leave it that way. Then just keep the bap hooked up so when you do either a bigger shot or cams you can just turn it back up.

Don't think 75% is high simply on motor ? If it doesn't rain I'll go log again. That was my first time and it only lets you log 40 items at a time and I wanted the tranny on there for shift points. 4.10s are happening tomorrow.

Nitrous doesn't strain it as much as you'd think. My boost only pulls are 83% and my nitrous pulls are 86-88%. You'll be fine man like I said especially with your bap barely being on.

Anyone know which of the many fuel trim PIDS are valid for 2005-2010 GT's? When I look through the options using my laptop, there are a dozen and none are as simply labeled as long term/short term fuel trim bank 1/2.
