Possible race ahead GT v. GTO
when i am on my way to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays i see this 2004 GTO 5.7L heading to the same parking lot i am. we usually dont park to far away, it always ends up this way. I can almost bet that a race is in our future. Any insight? i have read a bit on here and looked at stock number.
!!STOCK!!
2004 Pontiac GTO 5.7L -->0-60=5.3s...->1/4=13.8s,,,350HP
2005 mustang GT 4.6L -->0-60=5.0s...->1/4=13.5s,,,300HP
what gives with these numbers?
my car is heavily modded. I am fairly sure he has exhaust mod but I have no idea about anything else. he doesnt have cams. I think its manual.
Any insight?

I think with your mods you'll be fine, if his is stock. I don't know where you got those stats, but I thought the 04 goats were a little faster than those #'s.
I'd start taunting right away, then let us know how it turns out lol. Good luck

My 06 had a SCT tuner and a k&N air filter, 5 spd, stock Pirellis. The best I ever ran was a 13.501 at about 80 degrees in Michigan. But that was unusually fast, it usually ran about 13.6 consistently. I raced a GTO (no idea of the details of the car) and I beat him by 3 lengths ( I think he ran like 14 flat ). You can go from that
