Yea, its one of those things i know the pattern by heart so its no biggie, it does throw others for a loop though

Yea much better than that hideous stock shifter. Got my tune files just in time last night and just finished loading them on my device so hopefully ill be good to go when i pick the car up tonight since it took a little longer due to issues with a different car they had in the shop.

working at a repair shop, I'd always get one of those autos with the leather boots.. I go and try to shift like a stick and end up stomping my foot down where the clutch is supposed to be and the shifter is "stuck" lol.. takes me a second to figure out it's an auto!

Well, without a doubt its what the car needed. It'll blow the drag radials off from a dig now and just gets it way harder from a dig and a roll, instant power no more waiting for it to chug along while the RPM's climb up, tune needs some tweaks as you can hear in this video, not sure if its unlocking on the top end or what but itll get to like 5800 rpm and then just suddenly revs right to 6200 you can see what i mean if you listen close. Yet another couple times it didnt do it, I'll try it some more once i get a bigger cooler in it

Going to have to tune it. Your trans has no idea when to lock unlock...get it tuned and it'll drop RPM up top when it locks (where it should). Sounds like its locked way too soon, then unlocking up top causing that jump in RPPM. Backasswards, lol. You'll have to play around with the tune, but usually around 85-90 mph (depending on your RPM/gear) is where you want to lock it down. Your traps will be considerably higher.

This is actually a tune for the converter but not dyno, I figure itll take some datalogging to get it sorted 100%. Already got two races lined up lol.

It almost always takes some tweeking to get perfect. Or maybe I have bad luck, lol. Either way, she looks like she's running quite nicely! Ready to see what your slips look like. I'm guessing the G8 is one of the races lined up?

G8 is the first, he last went high 12's and my other buddy has a healthy powerstroke that he just dropped a new trans and converter in that most guys are going mid 12's with. I'll see if i can post his video on here give me a sec, i'm not a huge diesel truck guy do to the massive douche following they've attracted but his is really badass.
