Default low 13's 2V GT

Looking to get a 2V GT with a stick shift, 4.10 gears, long tubes, maybe a cam, a tune, intake, TB etc. just looking for a quick daily driver, good mid range and torque and sounds good. Any opinions appreciated.

I'd go a little less gear being its manual. 1st gear would be useless for a daily driver.

The rest of the gears would be fun yet lol.

Maybe 3.73's then light weight driveshaft, Magnaflow catless exhaust, short throw shifter..

3.73s are pretty much the perfect gear in those old 2Vs. They run out of breathe too quick for all that revving imo. Might not be the fastest cars on Earth, but they are still among the best sounding!

Best sounding car on earth. Ranks up there with Harley Davidson exhaust music. 2vs cover a lot of mustang history. Got a favorite generation picked out or just shopping best car for the money?

Considering how these cars or any cool car are so far and few up here, it really comes down to the choices around when I have the money lol

Also it took me forever to get my Z28/auto, I hope it doesn't take too long to find a nice 2v. I wouldn't mind an SN95 5.0 or even FoxBody since they're so light. I also wouldn't mind a S197 4.0 with a stick but at $10-13 it's getting up there. Looking something more like $5-8k cash paid so more money for mods lol

Who knows, I have been jonesing for a WRX or STI but I'll have to cough up a little more for those.. may or may not be worth it .

I live 10-15 minutes away from everything daily. Zipping back and forth with a stick shift that makes a lot of growling noises appeal to the child in me rofl

Hey man good luck. I ain't gonna lie I thought about getting rid of mine and even test drove a 16 GT but the exhaust tone, the rattling and shaking of the OL 2V made me stand down, lol! You should be able to find a nice GT for 5-8 grand. GL!
