Default How to check for Diablo vehicle lock?

I have a Predator that I bought for my 04 Mustang GT. I traded it in for an 01 Cobra. I can't remember if I reset the GT to stock tune before selling it (I don't think I did)...

I want to use it on the Cobra. How do I check to see if it's still locked into the GT? I plugged it into the Cobra and started it up. I didn't see anything obvious like 'this device is locked to another vehicle'. Would it be obvious if it were locked to the GT? Shouldn't it show somewhere what vehicle it's connected to?

Thanks in advance!

If it is locked, and you try to tune the Cobra, the tool will say 'this tool is not licensed for use with this vehicle'.

To confirm status, go to options/show last tune written.

If it says Original backup, if should be unlocked.
If it lists Diablo Tune, it is locked.

Crap, it's locked. From what I've read, that means I'm the proud owner of a $300 brick now, right??

Stupid rookie mistake...

Oh, forgot you bought it new...OK...fill out the rma request on our website, and request the $129 unlock service, and we'll email you back and ask you to call with the tool powered up so we can unlock it over the phone.

Thanks
Mike
