I am considering a used diablo sport it is unlocked. The thing is I have a 4.0L with a CAI and 2.5 exhaust upgrade pypes violator muffler. I want to run my 100 shot zex N20. My hang up is local dealer wants $350 to tune the car will only do it on the dyno and he only uses the diablo sport. I was wondering if the tuner could be returned to the canned tunes that come with it? If so how much does that run? I haven't found many email tuners for these so my biggest concern is what to do for tuning.

The canned tunes will not go anywhere, but you could easily pull a few degrees of timing at WOT for the N20 with the Predator.

That is what the guy selling it told me. I went ahead and bought it. I have never tuned a EI car. my other car is a 66 with a bbc and a carb I do spray it with N20 but I just jet accordingly. I was told there is a lot that can be done with these tuners. I used to own a repair shop. currently I am retired. I also hold my full level one N.I.M.S. qualifications. I do know CNC machining so I am not to shabby with computers. I was wondering if these tuners are somewhat close to the old snap-on scan tools I used to use years ago.
