Didn't have a cel light stay on but it would come in an out and their was burning smell coming from the engine. Called customer service again and they were closed the guy didn't bother to tell me that they were closing soon . So I decided to return everything to stock once even loaded the stock tune after I did this the car feels like its getting to much air but the mass air flow sensor doesn't go off but the car feels like if I were running it in redline all the time .

Okay, well it definitely sounds like you have an air-leak somewhere or a sensor unplugged or something. It should not feel like its running at redline on the stock or aftermarket tune. There is definitely something wrong(a leak or unplugged sensor or something) with the car that is not tune related if you are having idling/running issues on the stock tune as well.

Have you smoke tested the car to try and find it? If the car is back to stock and you are still having similar problems, it's definitely something related to the installation of the intake, whether an air-leak or sensor installation.

Call my Tuning Specialists directly at 888-226-9764 M-F 9am-530pm EST and sat 10am-4pm EST with any further questions or assistance trouble-shooting this.

I apologize for any inconvenience, but I assure you our tuning specialists will be able to help you get this resolved.

Please PM me directly if you have any specific questions/concerns in the future!

this definitely sounds like an air leak, a trick i use on my mustang is to spray carb cleaner around any place i feel might be leaking, say it was your head gasket, spray between the head and the block, if the rpms jump and hold for a second you found the problem. not sure how well this works with newer engines but it works great on older ones.

Sounds to me like AM is willing to bend over backwards to help the OP. I suggest he let them...

Op
There are a few issues it could including you might have damaged the MAF sensor when putting it in the JLT intake.. A dealer will be the first to tell you that it's the cai in their process of elimination.. Go back through your installation..: see if you left off any plugs..or lines.. Because it's doing it with the stock tune shows that it's most likely not a tune issue...it's highly unlikely that the tuner corrupted your stock tune.. Are you sure you installed tune correctly?? I would take advantage of am's ofer to help you and get the issue solved..
AM is a very good company that stands behind what they sell.. Good luck with it

how do you install that incorrectly O.o...

But this does sound like an issue on your side and not AM side be happy that they are bending over backwards for you.... they technically don't have too since it isn't their product that caused the issue...

Sounds like the MAF sensor is either not plugged in, installed into the intake incorrectly (upside down) or was damaged when the JLT was installed.

That would cause the Idle to jump everywhere and cause an overall crap running engine.

Just going to point this out because no one else has....

OP reinstalled his "stock" tune, but has a CAI on the car... OF COURSE it's not going to run right with that combination!

Probably best he just rids himself of the performance parts and stays stock
