SCT Tuner
Hi my name is Angel and I am new to all this, but I own a 06 Mustang GT. I bought it stock besides foose wheels and Roush exhaust. I recently bought a Roush intake for it and the guy threw in a SCT X3 tuner only problem was he had used it to tune his car therefore it was "married" but I downloaded the computer app for it and upgraded it before the upgrade it says make sure to return car to stock I obviously could not do that so just upgraded it and after that I got stock file from device and now it does not say if it is "married" or "unmarried" any ideas? :icon_shrug::icon_shrug:

Welcome to MF! :) ....The tuner has to go back to SCT to be unmarried!!! Cost around $150....GL

Want to be able to bet new camaros with out a problem :icon_wink:

Correct me if I am wrong, but the x3 is for custom tunes only anyway. You can send it to SCT and they can flash it to an SF3 and that will give you 3 strategy tunes and unmarry it. Just had that done on my X3 bout a year ago, now I have a 9600. And yes, 150 plus shipping down, they will ship it back.

So if the SCT is used, it may have to go back to get unmarried? If stock tune was reloaded it wouldn't?
