Hey guys,

I ahve been reading for hours about tuners and CAI and am probably more confused now than when I started looking

I am looking at the Steeda CAI and SCT tuner combo on American Muscle and they have tons of positive reviews about the setup... To be expected I guess. Then I come over here to look at what if anything I can find on the subject and get a little scared because there seems to be allot of guys having issues with tuners here.
Now I understand that this would be the place to come if you are having problems and are looking for some help so seeing people with problems here is kind of what I would expect I guess...

My question is are there some of you that have installed the Steeda CAI and SCT tuner and have had good results with the set up? Is there a better setup for bang for the buck?

I have used the SCT products in a diesel truck I used to have and had pretty good luck with the ease of use and the specific tunes i got from an independent tune writer.

I would really appreciate any feedback you guys have and/or imput on possible alternative products that will give better results.

Its money well spent. Steeda or JLT are both excellent choices for a CAI. I have been running the Steeda before & after I got the blower, and have never had an issue.

A CAI and Tuner combo is definitely a great investment and probably the most beneficial set of mods you can do to any year Mustang. The Steeda CAI is great and is definitely one of the best systems out there, along with Airaid, JLT Etc.. It may seem like some people are having issues with their device, however you definitely nailed it. People come to the forums for help, so the very few issues that you read about on the forums are just about all of the issues out there! However if you do have an issue, we'll work hard to get you squared away extremely fast.

Here's a little bit about how we write our tunes! For every Bama Tune we ask you 19 questions about your specific Mustang, including your unique mods and style of driving. This info helps us write custom tunes from the ground-up for your Mustang's mods that will give you the most horsepower that we can safely deliver. We're also constantly developing our tunes! Between our 14 different Project Mustangs and tons of street/track and dyno testing (on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC), we're looking for any minor tweaks to be made that can benefit you guys.

I have the Air Raid cold air intake and SCT tuner from American Muscle. It was the best money I have spent on the car, My only regret was not getting it sooner! The difference it made in my Mustang was outstanding. Much more HP and better gas mileage. Add to that the outstanding customer support from American Muscle + free tunes for life you just can't go wrong.
