wash your tail lights, dry them, hit them with some rubbing alcohol and dry them again, spray a light coat of the Nite shade on the lens, allow time to dry, wet sand, then start applying clear coat and between each coat wet sand. I think that should do it. Nite shade is easy to use but also easy to screw up.

I have always wet sanded prior to the first coat and in between every other coat use light coats and after you put you last coat of clear on wet sand then use rubbing compund then polish take your time and they will come out smoothe also use 2k grit
