Default RE: sparkplugs and wires

Fairly easy, just make sure you get a new set of spark plugs, beacause when pulling off my stock wires, I damaged one plug, although I was changing the plugs anyways. I can do mine in about 15 minutes if I had to but you will probably take an hour or just under, so take your time. Advice, you will need to pretty much fully remove your intake to your tb, if you have a cai, then in about two minutes thats done, a stock system, about 5. Then get a spark plug socket, socket wrench, and an adaptor as you may need to use two different length socket wrenchs for the tight spots, and you will need a 2" socket extender to give you enough room to work. Then it's just a matter of changing them out. Oh, try not to get platinum plugs, I've been told, by more than one reliable source I might add, that platinum tips are not good for Mustang V6s, don't remember why, but they're not, although a lot of people have them so. Make sure you install your wires right, because if one is in the wrong spot then you'll be in misfire city, but only the 5th and 6th cylinder are the ones you'll have to worry about as they are backwards comming off the coil pack to the plugs, look, you'll see. Also the coil pack tells you what goes to what, you may need to clean it up a little, but its on there. Also, the gell that comes with the wire is a lube to prevent water corrosion and gives a better connection, use that on the plugs that go to the coil pack, and it woun't hurt to put a little on the spark plugs before you put the wire on them.
