2.3 EFI won't Start??
 

I have a 87 Mustang with a trunk. I got it from one of my buddies i was bringing it home and it ran out of gas. So i went back home the past few days. (im in College)...Put gas in the car went to start it and it wouldn't start[>:]. So i checked the Distributor all the connections to the motor. Everything looked good but it just wont start!!.
Any help would be great.

check to make sure u have the battery plugged the right way with the ground and all i had that problem lol

You may have sucked up some crap from the bottom of the tank. First place to start is replace the fuel filter. AND make sure you have at least 3 or 4 gallons of gas in it. So you don't suck up more crap.

Oh I forgot one thing. After you replace the fuel filter, you will need to prime the system. It's real easy. Just turn the key to the ON position, without trying to start it, wait 5 seconds and turn it off. Then wait 10 seconds and repeat..then repeat again. This will turn on the fuel pump and get you pressure in the fuel line.

I thought that maybe it wasn't getting fuel preasure. Ran fine before it ran out of gas. But a 50$ car i can't complain.;)
