I have found a few small drops/puddles and they dont seem to be oil, and they are right under the front of the car, where is the fransmission fluid tank/thing in this car? I have no idea about cars, as you can tell, and for future reference are they like diagrams out there from ford or anyone else for this sort of stuff?

If it's at the very front of the car I'd check for a coolant leak first. If the leaking fluid smells sweet or is yellow or green in color that's probably what it is. If it's near the mid car, yea it could be transmission fluid. If you have an auto tran you can check the level. Start the car, run through the gears, while parked foot on break, put it back in park, leave the engine running and check the level and condition.

First thing...get a manual. Haynes and Chiltons make excellent manuals.
Second..what color is the fluid?
Third. Do you have an auto or manual tranny?

Sounds just like the tranny leak I had is the fluid reddish
