CAI (not a USUAL CAI question)
So im getting my paycheck in a week and when i pay my dad $100 for insurance i may have some spending money left over for a CAI. So im thinking about doing that however i was just curious does having an aftermarket CAI reduce the resale price of the vehicle?

RE: CAI (not a USUAL CAI question)
for resale price:
(of course there is exceptions like rims, etc..)
engine mods = increase in resale value/remain the same
exterior mods = decrease in value... espically when selling to a dealership. they usually know theyll be able to sell a stock vehicle better than an exterior modded car.
thats why you never see any riced out cars in a dealership lot... they wont buy them. no matter how subtle/good they look.

Your car will always be worth more stock. When you add to your cars performance, people always think that you ****ed with it. Unless you have proof and receipts that a professional installed a quality product, than the value will decrease with what ever mod you add to your car

definately depends on who's buying it...if i see 2 cars exact same price and looks everything, only one has lets say a cai and dual exhaust,i would take it....but like they look the same but one has flames on it or something dumb like that,i wouldnt buy that for sure...

No true. It all depends on your target customer. Some will pay more because the mods have already been done, some won't because they don't want a modded car. It all depends on the prospective buyer.
