Oxygen sensor in a 94 3.8

Does anybody know where exactly the O2 sensor is on a 94 Mustang 3.8. like will i have to invest in a socket for it or will i be able to get to it with a wrench?thanks for any info.

ok to my knowledge, unless u cut the wires on the O2 sensor, then u will have to use a wrench, not to make fun. O2 sensors are on your exhaust, umm not sure bout on a v6 94, but check just before your cat converters and after your cats. i believe u should have atleast 2.

I am sure its located on youre header before youre cats, You should beable to use a wrench or a vicegrips, they not that hard to take off.

i have a 95 3.8 and i had 4 o2 sensors, two on the header and two after the cats, you could use a wrench to get them off but buying the needed socket is definatly worth it, makes it tons easier to do

I just replaced the oxygen sensors on my 98 V6. There is only 2. I don't know how there is 4. One before the Cat and one on the exhaust pipe towards the middle of the car. Rent the Oxygen sensor tool kit from autozone for 15.00 and when you return it you get the money back.

well to me, and exhaust manifold is an exhaust manifold and a header is a header. the same and only true header i got on my car. don't tell me their aint a real diff between the two cause their is.

well i live about 1 1/2 hours away from the nearest autozone, lol, but a buddy is pickin me up one, i figure might as well have one... every vehicle i own now (except for my bikes, sleds, and my 78 Powerwagon) has them now.

And yes i belive there is a definate difference between a exaust manifold and a header.... theres a helva difference when i took the MANIFOLDS off my dodge v10 and put on HEADERS.... chrome, bent tubes, all equal lengths compared to the manifolds, all square, rusty, very restrictive looking.... so did 94 3.8 mustangs come factory with HEADERS?

later
