Help! My map lights wont turn off.

does anyone know about the two little lights in the view mirror? i bought a beautiful convert '99 ford mustang today and the map lights wont turn off. what a buzz kill.

Map lights on verts are turned on by either the two little buttons on the front of the mirror or by either turning your headlight switch clockwise (to the right). My guess would be the second one.

my guess is the headlight dimmer switch also, can be tricky at first

yea when i first got my mustang i accidently left the interior lights on and it took me 20 min to figure out how to turn the lights off..it should be the headlight switch

Yeah see if the headlight **** will turn left. If it doesnt then check the switches on the mirrow(both control the same lights) Also make sure both doors are closed

my dome light doesnt always shut off at the same amount of time. some times its off after i start the car and other times it take 5-10 mins. (est.) does anyone know how to fix it?
