Yeah, questions the same as the subject. Does it actually give you any increase in power, and is it worth putting in.

In a word NO. T-stat's have absolutly nothing to do with HP directly.

not directly but controlling the temp is important to consistent power production.

Yea, and it directly controls when your smog equipment comes on too. It's not worth it in a stock to mildly modded 6er.

Hell, I don't even think it's worth it in a GT, maybe only a car with some form of F/I, but that's about it.

Actually it will, it effects your Fuel/air ratio. but if you have a tuner, no point. it will also cool it down alot lower then stock. We used them here to test times. it will make your car just a little more consistant. (this will not effect very much at all)1-2hp

Nice, I new it had to be good for something. But hey what do you want for 7 bucks....right? How much do you think pep boys would charge to do it?

Don't go 160 in areas other than the southwest. You'll run cold (which causes a rich mix) all the time. It will shorten your CAT life and make your O2 sensors sluggish. 180 is as cold as I would go.

You can do it yourself. Just be sure to not overtighten the t-house bolts or you'll be crying!
