RE: CAM's
with a cam on a procharged 99+ you can expect 40+rwhp with the right cam. add heads and intake 90+rwhp
contact mik at www.rpm-mustangs.com he can supply you with what you need also RGR over at www.v6power.net is a cam guru. give him a PM the Comp cams biggest cam seems like it would be a dam good cam for a procharger here are the specs part# 44-704-9 Grind # 273HR112 218/224 dur intake/exhaust .500"/500" lift @ 1.6 ratio rocker. .540"/.540" lift with 1.73 rocker. .5625"/.5625" lift with 1.8 rockers 112 deg lobe sep angle you will need .600" lift springs. stock springs won't work this cam on a stock headed 11 psi 99+ 3.8 should make 330-350rwhp |
RE: CAM's
Damn that's a pretty agressive cam.

RE: CAM's
218/224 intake/exhaust - that's the duration of how long each lift last, don't know what that converts over to in real time. 218 is the intake duration, 224 is the exhasut duration, the cam opens the valves to let air in, this last a period of 218, then the cam opens the valves after detonation to let the air out the exhaust, that's 224.
.500"/500" lift @ 1.6 ratio rocker - this is how high the cam raises the valves to let air in, the higher and longer the duration, the more hp generated. it raises the valves equaly for intake and exit at 0.5" |
